Some enterprising entrepreneurs are taking the mud spouted from a disastrous gas well leak in Porong district, Sidoarjo, East Java, and putting it to good use as a cost-efficient building material.
For them, despite the destruction and hardship brought by the foul-smelling mud, which now blankets 126 hectares of land after 43 days, it has been a boon for business.
